Mr. Janezic serves as the Global Cyber Threat Intelligence Liaison for IBM Security X-Force. In this role, he establishes and maintains a global network of trusted partners that share information on advanced cyber threats. In August of 2020, Scott retired as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Prior to his retirement, Scott lead the Miami Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) and the Miami National Security Cyber Squad. Scott joined the FBI in 1996 and was previously assigned to New York, Houston, FBI Headquarters - Cyber Division in Washington, D.C., Jacksonville and the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia. From 2008 to 2009, Scott had a break in FBI service to work as a Manager at Mandiant managing APT engagements. Scott spent the majority of his career working cyber crime matters and was previously certified as a FBI computer forensic examiner. Scott was also an Intelligence Analyst in the US Army. Scott holds a Masterís Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and a Bachelorís Degree in Criminology, both received from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Scott has also obtained multiple GIAC certifications.
